Beaches Tutoring Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Beaches Tutoring platform (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

Beaches Tutoring connects users (“Students” or “Parents”) with independent, verified tutors (“Tutors”). All Tutors have passed our internal vetting process and hold valid Working With Children Checks.

Beaches Tutoring verifies that Tutors:

• Hold a valid Working With Children Check.
• Meet our internal criteria for subject knowledge and professionalism.

However, Beaches Tutoring does not guarantee the ongoing validity of these credentials and is not responsible for any changes in a Tutor’s status after verification.

When you book a session, you are entering into a direct agreement with the Tutor.

Payment is made directly to the Tutor at the time of booking, less any applicable platform fees.

Beaches Tutoring acts solely as a facilitator and is not a party to the agreement between Student and Tutor.

Any disputes regarding tutoring sessions, payments, or other matters must be resolved directly between the Student (or Parent) and the Tutor.

Beaches Tutoring is not responsible for mediating or resolving disputes but may, at its discretion, assist in communication.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when registering and booking.
• Treat Tutors, Students, and all users with respect.
• Not use the Platform for any unlawful or inappropriate purposes.

Beaches Tutoring is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of the Platform or your interactions with Tutors or Students.

The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Beaches Tutoring may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to receive a full refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, however they may be made at the tutor's discretion.
